4DAYS-3NIGHTS RINJANI TREKKING PACKAGE START SENARU – FINISH SEMBALUN

If you want to enjoy the trip up to Rinjani Mountain with longer visiting duration in order to satisfy your desire, the following is a rinjani trekking package with long travel visit: 4 days – 3 three nights that can be your choice. With this duration, you can enjoy the natural beauty of Rinjani Mountain freer. Hunting photos in various corners in beautiful rinjani and enjoying longer time fishing in Segara Anak Lake would be a more memorable experience for you. To facilitate the first day of your trip, it is better for you to stay at a hotel around the area the foot of Rinjani Mountain, in the village of Senaru or Sembalun before you start your trip on the first day

Itinerary:

DAY 1: SENARU RTC – PLAWANGAN SENARU

In the morning, after finishing breakfast at the hotel in Senaru village and  check out from the hotel, you will go directly to the Rinjani Trek Center (RTC) Senaru (601masl), 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. to register, and then we start the journey through coffee, chocolate plantations, and bamboo forest to get to the forest entrace. The location is somewhat open before we reached the forest entrace. It takes 25-30 minutes to the forest entrace, then we take rest for 5-10 minutes, then we will enter the entrance of tropical forest. Along the journey, you can see trees, birds, butterflies, monkeys, jungle orchids and various types of typical flora and fauna of tropical forests. 

You will feel cool though slightly uphill towards Post 2 (1500m) Montong SATAS with a travel time of approximately 2 hours. Here you will rest and enjoy snacks and fresh fruits that have been set up plus hot drinks like coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. After resting enough, you will continue the journey to post 3 / Mondoka Lokak (2,000m) with a journey time approximately 2 hours. Along the journey, you will see a wide variety of herbs like, pandan towering on the left and right of the road, mountain orchid stuck in the trees, even the local strawberry is grown along the road near post 3. After reaching Post 3, Porter will cook for your lunch. 

As a complement, fruit, coffee, tea will also be prepared for you. After lunch and get enough rest, you will begin to climb toward the camping area in Pelawangan Senaru (2.641m) for overnight. It is a two-hour walk through a tropical forest with open terrain and steep uphill terrain without stopping, and full of rocks. On arrival at the post 3 – approximately at 5 pm – the group will set up a tent. After that, it is relaxing time while waiting for sunset and dinner.

DAY 2: PELAWANGAN SENARU (2.641M ASL) – SEGARA ANAK LAKE (2.008M ASL)

After eating breakfast and enjoying the view of Rinjani Mountain from Pelawangan Senaru, you will then continue the journey to Segara Anak Lake with a time of 2 to 3 hours traveling downhill, the terrain is extremely steep with a slope of nearly 2,000 meters, you need to be extra careful. The target to reach the Segara Anak Lake is at 10 am. You will be resting, set up tents and prepare lunch. 

After lunch you have free time that can be utilized with soaking in the hot springs. You only have to walk about 100m from the tent site, in addition to bathing you can also use your time for fishing in the Segara Anak Lake. The fish that can be found here are such as tilapia and kiper (local fish). While you are fishing, guides and porters we will put up a tent for you to sleep at night. You can you make a good dinner menu with the fish that you caught. You can enjoy the beauty of the evening sky above Rinjani while grilling fish on the shores of Segara Anak Lake.

DAY 3: LAKE SEGARA ANAK (2,008) – PELAWANGANSEMBALUN (2.639M)

In the morning, you can still go fishing and enjoy the fish you caught. By noon, guides and porters will pack your luggage. After lunch you will leave Segara Anak Lake and head straight to Pelawangan Sembalun (2.639m) with a travel time of about 3 hours and our target that we can arrive there before 5 pm. Arriving at Plawangan Sembalun, the group will immediately set up a tent and enjoy the sunset, while waiting for dinner. You will spend the night in Plawangan Sembalun.

DAY 4: PLAWANGAN SEMBALUN – RINJANI SUMMIT 3,726 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL – SEMBALUN LAWANG

2.30 AM in the morning, you and guide have to be up and ready to get to the summit. It is done in order to be able to enjoy the morning sun (sunrise) on the summit of Rinjani Mountain (3.726 masl). Before you begin your journey, you will be served with coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate and snacks. The trip will take 3 hours 20min from Plawangan Sembalun. The track it quite hard, because you will walk on the crater rim with mediocre safety, the terrain of sand, stone, soil last 200 meters in the elevation. But the rough terrain will be paid pay off with beautiful natural scenery in the Rinjani Summit. 

Views of Agung Mountain in Bali, Tambora Mountain in Sumbawa will be obvious when the weather is nice in the morning. 30 minutes after enjoying the sunrise, you will be invited to go down to the camp with a travel time of approximately 1 hour. It is much easier compared to when you climb. When arriving at the campsite you will enjoy a second breakfast, then we will be packing to go down to the Sembalun Village where there is already a vehicle prepared for you to go back to hotel. The trip to Sembalun Lawang will take 5 to 6 hours. Once you arrive at the hotel, the package is complete.
