2Days-1Night Rinjani Mountain Trekking Package – VIA SENARU

For those of you who want to start your trekking journey through the tropical jungle Senaru, here is the itinerary to climb to Rinjani Mountain that you can choose. You will walk down along the cool tropical forests, accompanied by the sound of typical fauna of tropical forests along the journey, and you will find a wide variety of gorgeous flora. To facilitate the first day of your trip, it is better for you to stay at a hotel around the area in the foot of Rinjani Mountain, in the village of Senaru or Sembalun before you start your trip on the first day.

Itinerary:
FIRST DAY: SENARU RTC – Plawangan SENARU
In the morning after eating breakfast at your hotel in the village of Senaru, you will immediately check-out and go to the Rinjani Trek Center (RTC) Senaru (601m asl) at 7:30 to 8:00 am for registration, then we start to leave through coffee, cocoa plantations and bamboo clusters to the entrance of the forest. The location is somewhat an open space before we reach the entrance of the forest. It takes 25-30 minutes to the entrance of the forest, then resting for 5-10 minutes, then we will enter the entrance of tropical forest along the journey where you can see trees, birds, butterflies, monkeys, forest orchids and various types of flora and fauna characteristic – typical of tropical forests.

Your journey will be accompanied by a sense of cool though slightly uphill towards Post 2 (1500m) – Montong SATAS – with a travel time approximately 2 hours. Here you will rest and enjoy snacks and fresh fruits that have been set up plus hot drinks like coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. After having enough resting, you will continue the journey to Post 3 / Mondoka Lokak (2,000m) with a journey time about2 hours. Along the journey, you will see a wide variety of herbs like, pandan towering on the left and right of the road, mountain orchid stuck in the trees, even the local strawberry is grown along the road near Post 3. After reaching Post 3, the porter will cook your lunch. 

As a complement, fruit, coffee, tea will also be prepared for you. After lunch and resting enough, you will begin to climb toward the camping area in Pelawangan Senaru (2.641m) for overnight. It is a two-hour walk through the tropical jungle terrain and rugged terrain without break and full of rocks. On arrival at the Post 3, approximately 5 pm, the group will set up a tent. After that, it is relaxing time while waiting for sunset and dinner.

SECOND DAY: PLAWANGAN SENARU – SENARU VILLAGE – HOTEL / PORT / AIRPORT
After eating breakfast and taking pictures of the surrounding of Segara Anak Lake and you will continue the return journey through Post 3 and the tropical forest to the Post 2 and Extra Post for lunch and we will go out from the woods to the Senaru village with a approximately of 4-5 hours. If we have enough time and you are interested, you can continue the trip to visit two beautiful waterfalls in the Senaru waterfall: Tiu Kelep and Sendang Gile. After spending time until you fell satisfied there, you will be driven to the hotel where you will say good bye to our guide, and the package is complete.
