The Versatile Beauty Of Lombok Gilis

Lombok has become easier to be explored through many travel writing on a wide range of online media. Not limited to text, videos of tourism destinations can be seen in the realm of the virtual world. However, some specific terms still remains attached, such as the Lombok three Gilis. This term is a definite reference of three gilis at the north tip of Lombok Island: Gili Trawangan as the most crowded, Gili Meno and Gili Air.

This makes things easier for you if you want to add trip to other tourist locations in East Lombok, for example to Tangsi Beach or Pink Beach in the southeast of Lombok Island.
About the culinary, it may not have as many options as in Senggigi or Mataram. You can contact private tour, the owner of a rental car or your relatives to prepare lunch boxes. Especially culinary in Gili Kondo, restaurants or eating places can be found in the crowd centers along the main road, for example in Rarang village or some stalls in front of Paok Motong traditional market, at Masbagik intersection or near Aikmel traditional market. All located in East Lombok.
Back to the Three Gilis, one thing that makes it become the favourite of travelers: security is guaranteed at all times.

Some time ago, there was a photo mentioned to be taken in Gili Trawangan and then spread widely in the social media accounts (sosmed). A Foreign tourist who paraded and accompanied by several security officers and the tourist was wearing something with a clearly legible handwriting, ‘I am a thief’. The label was not covered because the thief did not wear masks, even shirtless, seen by each visitor in Gili Trawangan at that time. The deterrent effect is addressed to everyone; do not ever even take the property of others. One thing that is rarely made public, one of deterrent effects is the tourist will never be allowed to set foot again in the three Gilis. Whole Life!
